candy gram

Candy Grams

Spread the love this week with a personalized candy gram.
SMS Student Council will be selling Candy Grams for $1 each in the main hallway from 7:30-8:00 every morning this week. Each candy gram will allow you to send a sweet treat and personalized note to your friends or teachers. You will return your note to the Student Council and we will add a sweet treat and deliver candy grams at the end of the day on Friday.

You will need to know the first and last name of the person receiving the candy gram and their last period teacher.

All money fundraised will be donated to the local animal shelter.

grading periods

SMS Grading Periods

Scottsburg MS students receive report cards six times throughout the school year. Our current grading period will end next Friday, February 20th.
The grades on that report card, which will be published on Wednesday, February 25th, determine students' eligibility for extracurricular activities until the next report card is issued in mid April.

The grades from our third six weeks will be averaged with course grades from the fourth six weeks to calculate trimester grades.
The grade point average of the trimester grades is what we use to determine medal awards at the end of each school year.

Our basketball and cheer season is finished.
Wrestling events will continue throughout February.

Eventlink is how you can stay up to date with all schedules, practices, games, tryouts, and how coaches will send team messages, so it is important to get your account set up.

More information will be coming from coaches to parents as we approach each sports season.

Students should listen to the afternoon announcements for more information about practices and competitions.
