We encourage all of our SMS parents and guardians to be connected to school in as many ways as possible! Connections can be traditional such as talking to your kids every night, calling or emailing teachers for updates. Connections can also be digital. ParentSquare
ParentSquare is the district and school communication portal. This is a two-way communication portal. Please reach out to us when you have questions about SCSD2 or SMS.

Harmony Family Access (HFA)
This is the portal to your child's grade, attendance, and discipline records. All parents and guardians are required to create an HFA account at registration. If you have any questions about your account, contact the building principal.
Canvas
This is the portal to your child's classroom experience. When you create a parent account you can see each of your child's course details such as agendas, assignments, submitted work, discussions, and more.  Check out these instructions for creating a Canvas Observer account and for linking your student's account to your own!
