Student Handbook

The Scottsburg Middle School Handbook has some important updates for the 2024-2025 school year. Students and their parents are encouraged to review the handbook prior to starting school. Knowledge of operating procedures and expectations will give all parties a head start on success at Scottsburg Middle School.

Discipline

SMS will continue utilizing a progressive discipline model during the 2024-2025 school year.  Admin will review the updates with students during the first week of school.

Attendance

SMS has high standards for student attendance. Our plan to comply with the state requirements is outlined in the handbook.
